Clear terms, simple membership

Terms of Service

These terms explain the ground rules for using CX, connecting your accounts, trying AI-assisted features, and starting or ending a membership.

Last updated August 25, 2026

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CX Connected Existence (“CX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you access the CX website, create an account, connect a third-party service, use the CX workspace, or purchase a membership.

By using CX, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CX. If you use CX for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes it.

02

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding agreement to use CX. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from CX's failure to use reasonable security measures.

Accounts are personal unless CX expressly supports organizational access. You may not sell, share, or transfer an account in a way that defeats our security, trial, or billing controls.

03

Connected services and permissions

You choose whether to connect Google, Microsoft, or another supported provider. You represent that you are authorized to access the connected account and permit CX to retrieve and process the data covered by the scopes you approve. Your use of a provider remains subject to that provider's terms.

Current Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Mail, and Microsoft Calendar connections are read-only. Those permissions do not let CX send, delete, move, or edit provider mail or events. Providers can change or discontinue APIs, and a connection may need to be reauthorized. CX is not responsible for a third-party service's availability, accuracy, or independent acts.

You can revoke CX in your provider's security settings. Revocation stops future authorized retrieval but does not automatically delete data already synchronized into CX; see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.

04

Acceptable use

You may not use CX to:

  • break the law, violate another person's rights, or process data you are not authorized to access;
  • harass, defraud, impersonate, exploit, or cause material harm;
  • upload malicious code or interfere with CX, its providers, or other users;
  • probe, bypass, or defeat authentication, rate limits, billing, or security controls;
  • scrape, resell, or provide unauthorized access to CX or connected data; or
  • reverse engineer CX except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.

We may investigate suspected misuse and preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or others and as permitted by law.

05

AI-assisted features and financial capabilities

AI-assisted output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must review it and the source context before relying on it. CX may prepare a proposed action or change set, but you remain responsible for approving, verifying, and carrying out any consequential action. Do not treat AI output as a statement that an external change has occurred unless you independently confirm it.

Not professional advice

CX is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, accountant, law firm, medical provider, or fiduciary. Finance integration is not currently implemented. If financial or portfolio views are offered, they will be informational context—not investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Verify important facts and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

06

Free trial, subscriptions, and billing

Seven-day trial

An eligible new account receives one seven-day trial beginning when the account is created. No card is required to begin the trial. If you start a subscription during the trial, Stripe may collect a payment method and CX may preserve the remaining trial time before the first charge. If you do not subscribe, paid access does not automatically begin when the trial ends. Attempts to create repeat trials may be rejected.

Paid membership

The current standard membership price is $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year. The annual price reflects a $19.90 discount compared with twelve monthly payments—equivalent to two months free. The price and billing cadence shown at checkout control if they differ from this page. Taxes may be added where required.

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe and CX to charge the payment method on file at each renewal. You can manage or cancel through the Stripe billing portal in CX. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period unless checkout or applicable law says otherwise.

Fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used periods, except when required by law or expressly stated at purchase. Contact us promptly about a billing error. We may change prices prospectively by giving reasonable notice before a renewal, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

Complimentary access

CX may grant time-limited or ongoing complimentary access. A complimentary grant is not a paid subscription, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may end according to its stated expiration or if revoked for misuse or administrative reasons.

07

Your content and CX materials

You retain your rights in content you submit or connect. You give CX a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the features you use and to comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to necessary retention described in the Privacy Policy.

CX, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, belongs to CX or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use CX for its intended purpose; they do not transfer CX intellectual property to you. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.

08

Service changes and availability

CX is evolving. We may add, change, limit, or remove features, integrations, and usage limits. We will try to provide reasonable notice if a material change significantly reduces a paid service, but urgent security, compliance, or provider changes may require immediate action. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

09

Suspension and termination

You may stop using CX at any time and may cancel a paid subscription as described above. To request account and synchronized-data deletion, email hello@jbr.cx from your account address.

We may limit or suspend access for nonpayment, a material breach of these Terms, a security risk, unlawful activity, harm to CX or others, or when required by a provider or law. When practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. We may terminate an account for an uncured material breach or where continued service is not reasonably possible.

Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as payment obligations, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive termination.

10

Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the extent permitted by law, CX is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that synchronized data or AI output is complete, current, or accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this paragraph may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law, CX and its operators, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from CX. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to CX will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid CX during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as CX changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. If a material update affects an active paid membership, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate. Continuing to use CX after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not, you must stop using CX and cancel before the next renewal.

12

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. A dispute may be brought in a court that has lawful jurisdiction over the parties and subject matter.
